✦ About
Real name: Nobutaka Iida. Born April 4, 1975, in Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture. After graduating from Nihon Fukushi University, he attended the NSC Nagoya School, Class 4, and in 1999 formed the comedy duo "Tono-sama Gaeru Ama-gaeru" (later renamed) with Hideyo Tsumura. He began studying divination on his own during college, accumulating reading data and developing his own statistical methods. The duo disbanded in 2005, after which he shifted focus to a career as a broadcast writer and professional fortune-teller. Operating under the principle of "no readings without an introduction," he has provided free consultations to over 80,000 people over more than 20 years. Based on this experience, he developed an original divination method called "Gosei Sanshin Uranai" (Five Stars and Three Minds), combining Four Pillars of Destiny, Suimei Gaku, Nine Star Ki, Western astrology, and Sukuyō. This system cross-references 10 patterns of "Five Stars" based on Yin-Yang and Five Elements theory with 12 patterns of "Three Minds" classifying mental rhythms, interpreting fortune through a total of 120 types. He first appeared as a Monday regular on Fuji TV's "Waratte Iitomo!" (2012–2014) and currently appears regularly on the same network's "Totsuzen desu ga, Uranatte Ii desu ka?" as well as annually in January on Nippon TV's "AKBINGO!" Based on his own judgment that "the results of fortune-telling suggest it's better not to show my face," he is known for wearing a red mask during media appearances. His annual book series "Getters Iida no Gosei Sanshin Uranai" (Gentosha) has been a bestseller, surpassing 1 million copies for nine consecutive years since 2019, with total cumulative book sales exceeding 13 million copies (as of January 2026). His official LINE account has over 1.9 million followers, and he is also a father of four.
