Nangwol Park Joo-hyun was born in Cheongdo, North Gyeongsang Province in 1957. At the age of 17, he left home to become a monk and has walked the path of a Buddhist monk for many years. He currently serves as the head monk of Gamrosa Temple, located at the foot of Gyeryongsan Mountain in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province. Since his youth, he has devoted himself to the study of Japyeong Myeongri (Four Pillars of Destiny) and has published over 40 books on the subject, including *Wangchobo Sajuhak* (Introductory, Research, and Psychology editions), *Easy-to-Understand Yin-Yang and the Five Elements*, *The Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches*, *Combinations and Clashes and Their Changes*, *Analysis of the Yongshin (Useful God)*, *Lectures on Jeokcheonsu*, *Questions and Answers on Saju*, *Nangwol's Saju Terminology Dictionary*, and *Saju Psychology*. In addition to holding in-person lectures at Gamrosa Temple, he nurtures the next generation of scholars through the online site 'Nangwol Myeongri Academy' and the YouTube channel 'Sammyeong TV', where he provides lectures on orthodox Japyeong Myeongri theory and personal guidance. Renowned for his exceptional skills in divination, he is regarded as 'the best in the field' both within and outside the Myeongri academic community. Numerous scholars, including academics and authors, have personally visited Gamrosa Temple to formally study under him.
